[Sandbox](https://elumin.co/sandbox) allows students to do just that, providing access to multiple operating systems and configurations in a defined and secure environment. Sandbox Builder, [announced in March of this year,](https://pages.elumin.co/news/sandboxbuilder)extends the capabilities of the eLumin Sandbox allowing professors, teaching assistants, and technical staff to build secure, dynamic, and hands-on labs that span operating systems and system configurations.  Starting today: - We are unbundling Sandbox and Sandbox Builder from our managed service [Classroom Virtual Desktop](https://pages.elumin.co/classroomvdi). If you have an existing [AWS WorkSpaces](https://aws.amazon.com/workspaces/) environment or aren't looking for a managed offering, Sandbox and Sandbox Builder are now available as standalone applications that can be installed in your own WorkSpaces environment.
